Get a good general and they won't rout.īyz has no normal access to stakes (though Mercenary Longbowmen by Milan can plant stakes - unsure of whether the Byz can hire them though), so you'll have to abuse the heck out of your arrow towers and just stuff fifteen units of spear militia by the gate.
